As a Family Law Guardian ad Litem (GAL) I represent the best interests of children and provide a voice for under-represented, underage and vulnerable populations involved in divorce. My extensive background in social work and in child and family therapy enables me to thrive in this role.
Pre & Post-Placement Adoption Studies
I can assist you and your family in the court required assessments of prospective adoption applicants. As part of this “home study” I will conduct interviews and do a walk through of your home.
I will gather information related to the prospective adoptive parent’s health, financial stability, and any court records. I will also contact the references provided to me by the prospective adoptive parent. As required, I will provide information on adoption issues such as the importance of understanding that adoption is a life-long process. I offer adoption study services for individuals in Snohomish and King County. These study services include: foster, step-parent, and domestic partner adoptions.
